I love antique lace and I collect for 30 years. Small embroidered baby clothes, especially for baptisms, are certainly the ones I prefer. Transmitted from generation to generation, sometimes they come to us in a remarkable state of preservation and give us the precious witness of expertise that have perdus.Pour my creations, I always come back to the book by Ingeborg Riesser I cite French as our reference "Miniature art, doll houses". My small ensembles: dresses, hats and slippers are fully sewn and made with old lace: lace embroidery, Valenciennes ... (The glue that intervenes to put a pearl or pink silk that I carry with tape)
For the dress of the first set, there are 15 pieces of lace, silk ribbon over to the second: 13 tracks, it is doubled. The cloth booties measure 10mm.
