Commission Management Terrils Borinage

The Management of Terrils Borinage Natagora association began in October 2007 under the impetus of nature lovers and mining heritage.
Its objectives are the conservation, protection and safeguarding of slag heaps and wastelands resulting from former mining land and awareness of nature protection, environment and our local heritage.


The Commission, comprised solely of volunteers, is currently managing two nature reserves. She also works to expand the project to ensure that in future new reserves can be created around other former mining lands and other heaps.
